Episode #14 - The Trotter - Dr. Katy Trotter

What's Inside the Box? presented by Runner's High is back. This week we had the opportunity to chat in store with Dr. Katy Trotter.

Katy has called Little Silver and the greater Red Bank, New Jersey area home her entire live. While training along the banks of the Navesink, her and her twin sister Amanda tore up the tracks and trails of the shore area, before they both moved across the country to compete and excel for Stanford University.

Not only was Katy an absolute star runner, but she is also one of the kindest individuals you’ll come across.  She is a role model to many young athletes, and we are fortunate to have such an accomplished athlete and practitioner right in our backyard, as she is a renowned podiatrist and owns her own practice - Trotter Foot and Ankle in Shrewsbury.

We chat about what her time spent competing as an elite runner, what it is like owning your own medical practice, where she is currently with her own running journey, and we even get to geek out on the sport we love so very much - running.
